Biography

Sam was raised in Colorado and graduated with a degree in Psychology from University of Colorado, Boulder (sko Buffs!). She immediately went into the public safety field, working as an EMT in a Level 1 Trauma Center emergency department and eventually becoming a police officer in a mid-size city.

After deciding she wanted to move to the corporate sector, she began working as a Recruiter for Black Rifle Coffee Company in early 2022, where she led recruitment for multiple retail launches and hiring campaigns across Arizona, Utah, Tennessee, and Texas. Most recently, Sammy served as Donations & Outreach Manager for the BRCC Fund, Black Rifle Coffee Company's non-profit organization, coordinating campaigns to give monetary and in-kind donations to Veteran nonprofit organizations and first responders. Serving veterans and first responders is where her passion lies.

Sam also served as Business Coordinator at Cop to Corporate: Life After Law Enforcement, a nonprofit dedicated to helping law enforcement professionals transition into corporate careers. She is currently their podcast host.

Now living in Arizona with her dog, Sam enjoys hiking, weightlifting, horseback riding, football, and spending time with her amazing family. She also has a passion for combat aircraft and airshows.

She is extremely grateful and blessed to now be working as Assistant Programs Director at Warrior Rising and making an impact every day on veteran entrepreneurs!
